The SLHS Lightning archers seek sponsors willing to pay a penny (or half penny) a point during the archery season. There are 16 archery tournaments, each with a possible 300 points, for a maximum of 4800 points (or $48.00, $24.00 for half penny). Students will keep track of their points and collect the pledged amount at the end of the season.

Proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. SLHS is participating in St. Jude’s virtual monthly charity tournaments and has pledged $10 per archer per tournament. The Penny-a-Point Campaign will supplement SLHS’s gift to St. Jude.
